Vehicle Changes

As with any business Rapid Rentals always look to change and update its fleet based on many factors including purchase prices, residual values, running costs, reliability and vehicle condition ie. damage. Typically we are now keeping our cars on average less than 12 months on fleet this works well for customers who have longer term rentals as there is no inconvenience for tyre changes or servicing we simply change the car. About Us

Rapid Fleet was established in late 2006 by Ian Thomas to provide vehicle solutions to retail and local business users and later following acquisition became known as Rapid Rentals.

Our original business plan to provide rental vehicles and the market opportunity we identified has largely been proven. During the last 3 years trading we have consistently grown with Group turnover now averaging approx £2 million per annum. Our decision not to provide immediately a franchised rental solution and focus on our own regional based rental brand has evolved from a portacabin to permanent Kidderminster site ideally placed for both retail and commercial trading. In September 2008 we completed the acquisition of an existing business in Bristol which complements our market profile, adds new vehicle types and importantly speeds up our reaching acceptable scale. Finally in December 2009 we secured a central Worcester new site location which will develop growth organically but is well placed and presents a logical step in our regional trading plan of the M5 corridor.

Rapid Fleet is currently the holding business for the trading companies of Rapid Rentals and Hareclive Vehicle Rentals and is wholly privately owned and funded.
